The Coalition for Innovation, Employment and Development champions the role of innovation and creativity in creating jobs, spurring economic growth and development, and supporting the generation of breakthrough solutions to global challenges. This internationally diverse body seeks to bring industry, labor, consumer and non-governmental and other groups together on a range of public policy issues where innovation, creativity, and strong intellectual property rights can deliver real solutions.

July 13, 2010 – The Coalition for Innovation, Employment and Development, in partnership with the Permanent Missions of the United States, Nigeria and Mexico to the United Nations in Geneva, hosted "Increasing the Flow of Safe Products Throughout the Global Supply Chain" roundtable discussion in Geneva, Switzerland. June 16, 2010 – The Coalition for Innovation, Employment and Development supported the Permanent Missions of the United States, the Republic of Kenya, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in hosting the "Innovation Life Cycle" roundtable in Geneva, Switzerland.
